Design: The parasite stands for time, with a straight line connection to the Groninger Museum. With the help of the parasite you can not only find out what time the train will leave, but you also can read time through the works of art. All the art works you can see have all hung in the Groninger Museum during the period I worked on this project (Nov.2021 till Jan.2022).
To make sure the artworks become a part of the parasite, I made from some shapes of the artworks windows.
The parasite is placed in the curves such in a way that it seems like that it almost falls through. This is a reflection on periode of time. "you're just in time to catch your train".
To get inside, I designed a staircase that you can reach under the station between the bicycles. The steps of the staircase made out of shapes of the artworks that are depicted on the parasite.
